King James IV of Scotland marries Princess Margaret Tudor, after marrying by Proxy the year before King James IV of Scotland confirms King Henry VII's eldest daughter's marriage in 1503 just months after she lost her mother.
They married at Holyrood Abbey, and the union was commemorated with a gift of a Book of Hours, and was the union of Scotland and England that led to the Stuarts ruling England, years down the line.
